The Deadknight are the more expensive, but stronger counterpart of the Skully. Carrying two swords, the Deadknight hits twice in the same time the Skully hits once. The Deadknight is unlocked soon after the tutorial, after 1-2 is beaten. In the original versions of the game, the Deadknight requires a soulstone to unlock after beating that level. When compared with a Skully , the Deadknight has higher damage per second for every gem you spend, while the Skully has barely higher damage per second for every second waited for the skully to come off cooldown.
Behavior[]
The deadknight will constantly attack the enemies with two swords. Since he attacks twice instead of once, he is extremely powerful for its price. He is also quite slow, given all the equipment it has to carry. The attack does the same as a knighty per hit, but since it hits twice per attack, it's double the damage.
Special[]
In tier 1, his special is called the "Mid-Air Slice". When the special is performed, the deadknight leaps into the air, creating brief mirror images behind him, increasing his speed by +300% of his normal pace, hitting every enemy that comes in contact with the deadknight during the leap. This special scales off critical and special, lasts for 0.56s, and AI-controlled deadknight will only activate this ability within a range of 65. (10 Souls)
In tier 2, their special is extremely similar to the tier 1 special, which now increases his speed by +400%, and AI-controlled deadknight will only activate this ability within a range of 60. (15 Souls)
In tier 3 the deadknight's special now breathes fire. While breathing fire, the deadknight will damage all enemies in front of him within a range of 160, 0.27s after the special is first cast. This special scales off critical and special, and has a total recovery animation of 0.93s. (25 Souls)
In tier 4, their special is extremely similar to the tier 3 special, but the fire is now green. This special now damages all enemies in front of him within a range of 220, and now has a 50% chance to apply fear to any afflicted enemies for 5s. (30 Souls)

Trivia[]
- Deadknight claims before the battle with the Cyclops in skyhaven that he was once a human. It is implied that he is Asher, the young warrior who embodied Enix's spirit. All that was left after the battle between the two titans was a souless deadknight, presumably him.
