The Catapult is a passive unit that can only use a special attack to throw explosive rocks, required to destroy barricades. This unit is found on 1-9, 2-9, 3-9, 4-9, 5-9, and 6-10. Hero Catapults are the same thing as your catapults and will appear as an allied unit that must be protected in 1-8, while in 3-9, 4-9, and 5-9, they appear as an enemy.
Behavior[]
The Catapult will only attack by using its special. Attempting to attack normally will just result in the catapult moving towards a target and then sitting next to the target.
Special[]
The Monster catapult throws a rock with a range of 200, after 0.33s, that will deal explosive damage in a 150 radius with damage falloff. Since these rocks deal siege damage, they are able to damage barricades. This special scales off special, and has a recovery animation of 0.5s.
The Hero catapult throws a rock with a range of 200, after 0.33s, that will deal explosive damage in a 150 radius with damage falloff. Since these rocks deal siege damage, they are able to damage barricades. This special scales off special, and has a recovery animation of 0.67s.
Trivia[]
- The catapult only appears on levels that end with a 9. The only reason why the catapult appears in 6-10 instead of 6-9 was that a level between 6-6 and 6-8 was added in an update, moving all those level numbers after 6-7 one digit higher.
